Spring is here! Almost time to trade that blanket and warm fireplace for pina coladas and lapping ocean waves. Often thought of as a time for new beginnings, you should probably at the very least change your wallpaper ;)

Our desktop calendar wallpaper for July marks the winter solstice

We are really lucky here in Cape Town to get some pretty mild winters. Sure maybe not as balmy as Durban or Miami, but we still get some beautiful weather amongst the really cold and rainy days. The 21st of June marked our winter solstice, so the weather should start getting warmer as we begin sliding towards the summer months.

The DSLR camera was forgotten at home so this wallpaper shot was taken with the trusty iPhone 3GS camera.
