His name is Rocky, or affectionately NooNoo. Possibly the maddest most loving Burmese kitty you could meet. He often makes everyone’s workday here at The Forge even better when he comes to visit us at our desks.

Even when he cries for attention or discovers an insane keyboard shortcut that leaves your browser locked at 100px and your computer’s default language Mandarin, you cant help but still love him.
February is normally the hottest month of the year for us in Cape Town. To continue with the theme of creating a wallpaper that involves our environment here at The Forge, the chilies used in this wallpaper were grown right here on the grounds.

After the popularity of our other free downloads from The Forge – the latest being Organic – A free premium Wordpress theme, we’ve decided to release a regular free desktop calendar wallpaper every month.
So without further ado, here is the wallpaper for January (apologies for it being a little late).

As a point of interest, this photograph was taken from The Forge headquarters (we are extremely thankful to have a pool during hot Cape Town summers). And what we aim to do as a wallpaper theme for this year, is to whenever possible make the wallpapers reflect an aspect of The Forge environment.
As a parting gift for 2009, The Forge Web Creations is thrilled to announce the release of our very first free Wordpress theme, Organic.
We like to think of Organic as a free PREMIUM theme for Wordpress in that it offers some options normally only available in premium themes but is available to you as a 100% free download.
